Description
The Snom M9B Beacon Gateway can be operated by battery as well as by USB power adapter and is therefore flexible and can be retrofitted at almost any location.
This allows a wide range of scenarios to be mapped, from indoor navigation, theft protection, inventory management, tracking solutions and much more. On the one hand, the beacons are inexpensive to purchase, can be installed with minimal effort and consume hardly any power thanks to the BLE standard (Bluetooth Low Energy). In addition, beacons normally do not affect already existing infrastructures such as WLAN, DECT or mobile radio. Even medical devices remain undisturbed.
Bluetooth
This device has Bluetooth headset support.
DECT
This device communicates using the radio standard for telecommunications called DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications).
OTA Updates
This device is able to receive updates via radio, i.e. OTA (over-the-air). As a rule, the DECT handsets must be in their charging cradle for this.
